Automated Insights

The Insights Hub watches your data continuously and surfaces things worth knowing, without you having to ask.

What Are Automated Insights?

Skopx runs pattern detection across your connected data sources in the background. When it finds something notable, it creates an insight card in the Insights Hub. These can include:

  • Anomalies. A metric that suddenly spiked or dropped (e.g., "Support tickets jumped 340% today compared to the weekly average").
  • Trends. A metric moving consistently in one direction (e.g., "Daily active users have grown 12% week over week for the past month").
  • Correlations. Two metrics moving together (e.g., "Deploy frequency and bug reports are both up this sprint").
  • Milestones. Notable thresholds crossed (e.g., "You just hit 10,000 total users").

How to View Insights

  1. Click Insights Hub in the left sidebar of your dashboard.
  2. Browse the feed of recent insights, newest first.
  3. Click any insight card to see full details, including the underlying data and suggested actions.

Acting on Insights

Each insight card includes:

  • Context. What happened and how significant it is.
  • Data. The actual numbers with citations.
  • Suggested actions. What you might want to do about it.

You can dismiss insights you have seen, acknowledge ones you are acting on, or click through to the AI chat for deeper investigation.

Customizing

In Settings > Insights, you can:

  • Choose which data sources to monitor
  • Set sensitivity (how unusual something needs to be before it becomes an insight)
  • Configure notification preferences (email, in-app, or both)
