Export Formats
Skopx supports three export formats for documents and reports: Word, PDF, and Excel. Each is suited to different use cases.
Word (.docx)
Best for documents that need editing after export. Use Word when:
- You want to customize the formatting before sharing
- The document will go through a review or approval process
- You need to add sections or commentary by hand
Best for final, polished documents. Use PDF when:
- You are sharing externally with clients or stakeholders
- The document should not be edited
- You want a consistent layout across devices
Excel (.xlsx)
Best for data-heavy exports. Use Excel when:
- You need to run your own formulas or pivot tables on the data
- The output is primarily tabular (lists, metrics, breakdowns)
- You want to create custom charts from the underlying numbers
How to Export
After Skopx generates a response or report in the chat:
- Click the Export button that appears below the response.
- Choose your format: Word, PDF, or Excel.
- The file downloads to your browser.
You can also request a specific format in your question:
- "Generate a sales report and export it as PDF."
- "Give me a spreadsheet of all open Jira tickets."
- "Create a Word document summarizing our Q1 performance."
Tips
- Excel exports include the raw data, so you can sort and filter after downloading.
- PDF exports are formatted for printing with proper margins and page breaks.
- You can export the same report in multiple formats if needed.
