SaaS Connections

SaaS tools connect through OAuth, which means you click a button, authorize access, and you are done. No passwords to manage.

How OAuth Works

When you click Connect on a SaaS tool, a popup opens asking you to sign in to that service and grant Skopx read access. Skopx never sees your password for that service. The OAuth token is encrypted and stored securely.

Connecting Slack

  1. Go to Settings > Data Sources and find Slack.
  2. Click Connect.
  3. Choose the Slack workspace you want to connect.
  4. Authorize access. Skopx will index public channels and any private channels you explicitly share.

Try asking: "What were the most discussed topics in #engineering this week?"

Connecting GitHub

  1. Find GitHub in the catalog and click Connect.
  2. Authorize with your GitHub account.
  3. Select which repositories to include (or select all).

Try asking: "How many pull requests were merged in the last 7 days?"

Connecting Jira

  1. Click Connect on Jira.
  2. Sign in to your Atlassian account and authorize.
  3. Skopx will pull projects, issues, sprints, and comments.

Try asking: "Show me all critical bugs that are still open."

Connecting Gmail

  1. Click Connect on Gmail.
  2. Sign in with your Google account and grant read access.
  3. Skopx indexes your emails for search and analysis.

Try asking: "How many support-related emails did I get this month?"

Connecting Notion

  1. Click Connect on Notion.
  2. Authorize and select which pages or databases to share.

Try asking: "Summarize the product roadmap in Notion."

Managing Permissions

Each SaaS connection only requests the minimum permissions needed. You can review and revoke access at any time from Settings > Data Sources.
